Das Robot Eye wirkt wie ein kompakter Fund aus einer futuristischen Werkstatt: Ein festes, detailreiches Außengehäuse rahmt einen separaten inneren Augenkörper mit markanter Iris. Wird der innere Körper von Hand gedreht, zeigt die Skulptur wahlweise die mechanische Iris oder ihre glatte Rückseite – eine ruhige, überraschende Bewegung für den Schreibtisch. Der durchgehende Silk-Rainbow-Verlauf wechselt wie abgebildet von Gold über Orange zu Magenta und hebt Kanten, Vertiefungen und technische Flächen hervor. Mit rund 9,6 cm bleibt das freistehende Robot Eye kompakt, ist aber groß genug, um seine Details deutlich zu zeigen. Es ist eine dekorative Sci-Fi-Skulptur und ein manuelles Desk-Fidget ohne Elektronik.

HINWEIS ZUM 3D-DRUCK

Dieses Produkt wird im 3D-Druckverfahren aus PLA gefertigt und nicht nachträglich bemalt. Feine Schichtlinien oder Rillen, kleine Oberflächenunterschiede und mögliche leichte äußere Kontaktspuren der beim Druck verwendeten Baumstützen sind verfahrensbedingt normal. Position und Übergänge des durchgehenden Silk-Rainbow-Farbverlaufs können bei jedem Exemplar etwas anders ausfallen. Auch die Beweglichkeit des direkt mitgedruckten inneren Augenkörpers und die Farbdarstellung am Bildschirm können leicht variieren.

Robot Eye looks like a compact relic from a futuristic workshop. A fixed, highly detailed outer housing surrounds a separate inner eye body with a striking mechanical iris. Rotate the inner body by hand to reveal either the iris or its smooth reverse, adding a subtle and satisfying movement to a desk display. The continuous silk rainbow gradient shifts from gold through orange to magenta as pictured, bringing out the recessed panels, edges and engineered surface details. At approximately 9.6 cm, this freestanding piece remains compact while preserving its visual impact. It is a decorative science-fiction sculpture and a manual desk fidget with no electronics.

3D PRINTING NOTICE

This product is made from PLA using 3D printing and is not painted afterwards. Fine layer lines or ridges, minor surface differences and possible light contact marks on the outside from the tree supports used during printing are normal characteristics of the process. The position and transitions of the continuous silk rainbow gradient will vary slightly between pieces. The movement of the print-in-place inner eye body and the way colours appear on a screen may also vary slightly.
