Der langgestreckte Körper liegt flach, während Kopf und Hals wach aufgerichtet bleiben. Ein tiefschwarzes Federkleid mit fein gesetzten weißen Zeichnungen trifft auf einen gedämpft olivgrünen Hals; das kleine rote Auge setzt einen präzisen, lebendigen Akzent. Reliefartig gestaffelte Flügel- und Schwanzfedern geben der Figur auch von hinten viel Tiefe. Durch ihre ebene Unterseite steht die rundum ausgearbeitete Skulptur sicher und eignet sich besonders für eine Vitrine, ein Sideboard oder eine naturkundlich inspirierte Vogelsammlung.

Moonlit Common Loon captures the still, alert presence of a common loon resting low on the water. Its long body remains close to the surface while the head and neck rise in a watchful pose. Deep black plumage is broken by crisp white markings, a muted olive-green neck and a focused red eye. Layered wing and tail feathers add depth from the rear as well as the front. With its flat underside, the fully modelled sculpture stands securely for display in a cabinet, on a console or within a bird and natural-history collection.
