Edition ist jede Figur noch feiner detailliert und vollständig von Hand bemalt. Das gesamte Brett ist eine Straßenszene aus Ziegelmauern, Stadthäusern, Schornsteinen und Kuppeln, eingerahmt von vier großen Gaslaternen an den Ecken.

THE DETECTIVE CHESS SET – 2ND EDITION

Welcome to Victorian London: fog over the rooftops, gas lamps on every corner – and in the middle of the board two detective armies in gold and silver face off. In the revised 2nd edition every figure is even more finely detailed and fully hand-painted. The entire board is a street scene of brick walls, townhouses, chimneys and domes, framed by four large gas lamps at the corners.

• Bishop – investigator with revolver in a long coat
• Knight – caped detective on London cobblestones

Each piece stands on a sculpted base with cobblestones and house façades. The board is made of individually inlaid tiles with a shimmering faceted texture.
