Das klare Schwarz-Weiß des Gefieders zeichnet die lange, schlanke Silhouette nach, während rote und graue Details den wachsamen Ausdruck betonen. Rindenrisse, helle Holzspuren und der breite Sägeschnitt-Sockel geben dem Motiv eine natürliche Waldwirkung. Baumstamm und Sockel sind fest in die freistehende Skulptur integriert. With its vivid red crest and long pale beak, this pileated woodpecker climbs a weathered tree trunk in a naturally alert pose. Crisp black and white plumage defines the bird's long silhouette, while red and grey details sharpen its expressive profile. Bark fissures, lighter wood markings and the broad cut-log base give the piece an authentic woodland character. The trunk and base are permanently integrated into the freestanding sculpture, allowing the model to be appreciated from several angles.
