Die Größenangabe bezeichnet den Höhenbereich innerhalb des vollständigen Sets: Bauern und niedrigere Rollen liegen am unteren, Könige und andere hohe Figuren am oberen Ende. Alle 32 Figuren werden gemeinsam proportional skaliert.

Bei der handbemalten Ausführung bleibt die schwarze Grundierung bewusst in Vertiefungen, Gewandfalten, Gesichtern, Wellen, Ornamenten und Sockelsymbolen sichtbar. Dadurch treten Dreizack, Webstuhl, Schiff, Monsterkörper und weitere Details plastisch hervor. Die gedruckten Varianten sind jeweils durchgehend einfarbig und besitzen keine dunkle Patina.

HINWEISE ZU FARBE, HANDARBEIT UND 3D-DRUCK

Jedes handbemalte Set wird einzeln von Hand veredelt. Farbauftrag, Schattierung, Glanz, sichtbare schwarze Grundierung und kleine Details können deshalb von den Produktbildern abweichen. Diese Unterschiede sind kein Fehler, sondern machen jedes handbemalte Set zu einem Unikat.

Bei den gedruckten Varianten können Monitore und Displays Farben unterschiedlich wiedergeben. Auch zwischen Filamentchargen sind geringe Abweichungen in Farbton und Glanz möglich. Gold und Silber bezeichnen ausschließlich Farbe beziehungsweise Oberflächenfinish; die Figuren bestehen nicht aus Edelmetall.

Feine Schichtlinien und kleine Oberflächenmerkmale sind typische Eigenschaften des 3D-Drucks. Wegen verschluckbarer Kleinteile ist das Set nicht für Kinder unter 3 Jahren geeignet.

This complete Odyssey chess set pits the heroes of Ithaca against the powerful figures and monsters encountered on their journey. Odysseus with his bow, Athena with spear and shield, Penelope at her loom, Telemachus on horseback, the richly detailed ship and Ithacan sailors form one army. Opposing them are Poseidon with his trident, Circe, the Cyclops Polyphemus, Scylla, the Siren Cliff and the Laestrygonian giants. Every role has its own distinctive silhouette and matching base emblem, creating a playable chess set and a cohesive mythological display.

SIZES

• Small: approximately 3.5–5 cm piece height

The selected size gives the height range across the complete set: pawns and lower roles sit near the lower end, while kings and other tall pieces reach the upper end. All 32 pieces are scaled together and proportionally.

COLOUR PAIRS & FINISHES

• Silver / Gold – hand-painted: monster side in silver and Ithaca side in warm yellow gold, with metallic accents over a black base
• Black / White – printed: monster side completely black and Ithaca side completely white
• Silver / Gold – printed: monster side completely Silver Silk and Ithaca side completely warm Gold Silk

On the hand-painted finish, the black base intentionally remains visible in recesses, garment folds, faces, waves, ornaments and base emblems. This brings out the trident, loom, ship, monster bodies and other sculpted details. The printed options are fully single-colour and have no dark patina.

COLOUR, HAND-PAINTING AND 3D-PRINTING NOTICE

Every hand-painted set is genuinely finished one at a time. Paint application, shading, sheen, visible black base and small details may therefore differ from the product images. These variations are not defects; they make every hand-painted set unique.

For printed options, monitors and displays may reproduce colours differently. Minor differences in colour and sheen can also occur between filament batches. Gold and silver describe colour or surface finish only; the pieces are not made from precious metal.

Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are normal features of 3D printing. Because of small parts, this set is not suitable for children under 3 years.
