This Mandrill bust presents the imposing primate as a powerful, strongly textured animal portrait. An elongated muzzle, pronounced raised lines along the nose and a high crown define the unmistakable face. Densely modelled fur strands frame the cheeks, jaw, neck and chest, giving the compact form impressive depth. Recessed eye areas and finely sculpted contours around the mouth and nose strengthen the intense expression. A forward-facing yet subtly turned pose allows many details to stand out from the side as well. A broad flat finish provides stable freestanding display on a shelf, sideboard or desk. It is a striking decoration and distinctive gift for primate enthusiasts, animal lovers and collectors of expressive wildlife art.
