Lace of the Dead verbindet die leichte Silhouette eines Schmetterlings mit einer deutlich düsteren Bildsprache. Weit gespannte Flügel bestehen aus geschwungenen, spitzen Ornamenten und großen Durchbrüchen. Im Zentrum ersetzt ein Totenschädel den Kopf des Insekts; weitere Schädelmotive sitzen verborgen in den unteren Flügeln. Tiefes Schwarz und leuchtendes Rot folgen den übereinanderliegenden Konturen und verstärken die symmetrische Zeichnung.

Als Wandskulptur lässt das durchbrochene Motiv die Wandfläche sichtbar und wirkt dadurch zugleich filigran und plastisch. Es ist für eine dekorative Wandpräsentation gedacht; eine zur jeweiligen Wand passende Befestigung sowie das Befestigungsmaterial sind nicht Bestandteil des Angebots.

Lace of the Dead combines the light silhouette of a butterfly with an unmistakably darker visual language. Sweeping wings are built from pointed ornament and large open sections. A skull replaces the insect’s head at the centre, while further skull shapes are hidden within the lower wings. Deep black and vivid red follow the layered contours and strengthen the design’s symmetry.

Displayed as a wall sculpture, its openwork construction allows the wall surface to remain visible, giving the piece a character that feels delicate and dimensional at once. It is intended for decorative wall display; a mounting method suitable for the individual wall and the necessary hardware are not included.
