THE HALLOWEEN CHESS SET – A DUEL OF DARKNESS

Two sinister armies face each other: gold versus silver, on a massive black board framed by skulls and gnarled branches. Every single piece is a small sculpture – dark, richly detailed, and finished by hand.

THE PIECES (32 in total)

• King – an undead ruler with crown and skull scepter
• Queen – a dark queen in a thorn-trimmed gown
• Bishop – a witch with pointed hat and scarecrow face
• Knight – an ominous raven with spread wings
• Rook – a haunted castle with towers and battlements
• Pawns – ghosts clutching a grinning jack-o'-lantern

Each piece stands on a base of stacked skulls. The board squares carry raised reliefs – roses, bats, skulls and bones – some highlighted by hand with golden accents. Large skull sculptures guard all four corners of the board.
