Seine große, kreisrunde Gesichtsscheibe, die gelben Augen und das fein gestaffelte Federkleid geben der Figur eine wachsame, ruhige Präsenz. Schwarz, Anthrazit, Aschgrau und Elfenbein zeichnen die Federn in vielen kleinen Kontrasten nach; Schnabel und Augen setzen gelbe Akzente. Durch den integrierten Baumstumpf steht die Skulptur sicher und ist rundum ausgearbeitet. Poised on a weathered tree stump, this Great Gray Owl captures the quiet watchfulness of a northern forest hunter. Its broad circular facial disc, yellow eyes and densely layered plumage give the sculpture a calm yet commanding presence. Black, charcoal, ash grey and ivory pick out the feather pattern in fine contrast, while the beak and eyes add focused yellow accents. The integrated stump forms a stable base, and the owl is fully modelled all around for viewing from every side.
