This Sloth bust combines the animal’s relaxed character with an expressive sculpted surface. Large rounded eyes, a small upturned nose and a gentle smile give the face a friendly expression. Long, clearly modelled strands of fur frame the head and cheeks before flowing in curved lines across the chest. Fine contours around the eyes, muzzle and forehead add depth without disturbing the calm appearance of the form. The different views reveal both the balanced front and the layered fur relief along the sides. A broad flat finish allows stable freestanding display on a shelf, sideboard or desk.
